Cultured Marble

Cultured marble (most commonly marble, granite, or onyx) is a mixture of polymers and fillers to which color has been added that is poured into a mold that has been sprayed with a gel coating. It is then cured until hardened and removed from the mold. This process allows vanity tops to be poured in one piece with the sink and backsplash included. The manufacturing process permits a range of uses almost impossible to achieve with quarried stone. Cultured marble is stronger and less brittle than quarried marble and more durable than porcelain. Cast polymer products resist mildew and stains and are easily cleaned with non-abrasive cleaning agents. The one-piece, seamless construction of cast polymer is easy to maintain and resistant to breakage.

Today's cast polymer products offer improved construction, top-notch raw materials, and superior quality control standards. The end result is a beautifully finished product made with materials ensured to last longer, look better yet still allow freedom of color and versatility of design at an affordable price.

We manufacture our cultured marble using the best raw materials available. We use only superior fillers and resins.

Our business model is driven by the customer who wants the highest quality possible. Our cultured marble is truly some of the best cultured marble in the world and is made in the USA.

All of our cultured marble easily meets nationally recognized standards to resist water, heat, stains, burns, chemicals and everyday wear and tear.

Cultured marble, cultured granite, and cultured onyx are commonly used for bathroom vanity tops, full-height shower walls, bathtubs, whirlpool decks, window sills, fireplace surrounds, and much more.

TESTIMONIALS

“My husband and I are very happy with our beautiful kitchen and bathrooms completed by Surface Designs. Surface Designs is a very customer orientated business. They were extremely helpful and highly reliable. We had cultured marble installed in our showers and on the vanity countertops. The kitchen countertop and full back splash were completed in Cambria, which turned out absolutely beautiful."
